1937 Studebaker Dictator Six Custom Rumble Seat Coupe The Studebaker story is an epic adventure in American history. In 1852, grandchildren Clement and Henry of immigrant Clement Studebaker who first came to America in the mid-18th century from Solingen, Germany, started the H and C Studebaker Blacksmith Shop in South Bend, Indiana where in the first year of operation they built two horse-drawn farm wagons. Many years later, this 5-passenger 'rumble seat' custom coupe with the family name still proudly displayed, was available with a price tag of $865.00.
