1953 Packard Patrician Sedan In its day, Packard was the flagship American automobile the way that Rolls-Royce still fills that role in England. The 1953 Patrician here is testament to that legend. Riding on a 127-inch wheelbase and powered by Packard's venerable 9-main bearing, 327 cid straight-8 engine, the Patrician was their Senior model sedan for 1953. All original and with legendary Packard luxury and styling throughout, it would only be five years before the Company would close its doors, having started operations shortly before the turn of the century. This car can be seen in such films as Analyze This, Mona Lisa Smile, Batman Forever, Quiz Show and The Talented Mr. Ripley.
