1967, 1968 and 1969 Checker Taxicabs The Checker endures like San Francisco’s cable cars and the gondolas of Venice, if largely only in memory here in New York and in a good number of other American cities. Manhattan’s beloved, own ‘urban unicorn’, it continues to enchant us.

FilmCars was commissioned to work with the art department in charge of styling one of our Checker taxicabs for Lady Gaga to arrive in to all of her Roseland Ballroom performances in NYC, 2014.
